Hollow Metal Door Details
Norome provides custom glass inserts and hardware prep. We also provide fire rating as well as temperature rise doors. Our fire labeled doors are approved by both Intertek Testing Services (Warnock Hersey) and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) fire labeling programs. Fire rating - 20 min, 45 min, 90 min, and 3 hour.
The doors are available with the following core options; Honeycomb, Polystyrene, Polyurethane, Rockwool, and Fiberglass.
We have a variety of specialty doors that include: high velocity hurricane zone doors, FEMA 361 tornado doors, embossed raised panel doors, and stainless steel doors.
Steel Frame Details
Norome offers a complete range of steel frames. Our frames are manufactured from galvannealed steel and are in accordance with ANSI A115 standards. These frames can come fully welded or in knock down sets. We also provide a thermally broken frame option for extreme weather conditions.
Single and Double doors
Norome supplies Western Canada with commercial grade hollow metal doors. We supply both single and double metal doors for interior or exterior use. With a variety of specifications available, we are capable of meeting your specific needs for commercial hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware.

161 cylindrical lock assembly reinforcement with added barrel support projection welded to door edge, in accordance with ANSI A115.2 requirements.
86 edge mortise lock preparation reinforcement box with integrated lock support, in accordance with ANSI A115.1 requirements.
Rim panic reinforcement box for surface mounted exit device application.
Available Cores
Norome supplies commercial steel metal doors with honeycomb, polystyrene, and polyurethane core options. Polystyrene core doors have an R-Value of 6.0(RSI 1.06) and Polyurethane core doors have an R-Value of 11.0(RSI 1.93).
Fire Rating
Norome's fire labeled doors are approved by Intertek Testing Services (ITS Warnock
Hersey). Doors can be fire labeled for up to 3 hours and must be installed in an equivalent fire labeled frame with approved fire
